Born in small town Prince Albert Canada, my passion for dance began at the young age of 4 and by the age of 11, I was ready to move to the big city and was accepted to The National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto. I studied and trained at NBS until graduating in 2008 as Student Council President. During my studies their I completed an exchange program at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York which opened my eyes to the dance world even more.
After graduating, I was then accepted to Codarts: Rotterdam Dance Academy where I entered as an advanced student into the 3rd year of the 4 year program. I spent my last year of studies as an apprentice at Dance Works Rotterdam under the direction of Ton Simons and in 2010 graduated from Codarts receiving my Bachelors of Dance.
Since graduating I have had the opportunity to explore different sides of the dance scene in Holland from working at companies like The International Dans Theatre and Dutch National Opera & Ballet and at the same time enjoying shows with musical artists, TV and concert programs, working as a model/dancer for brands such as Nike, Asics and Reeboks, and working as a aerialist and dancer for 6 years with the leading dance event, Sensation.
Most recently I finished my first film debut working as a dancer/actress, for the movie “The Conductor” directed by Maria Peters with choreography by Vincent Vianen.
I am currently now on tour as the lead dancer for the 2018 show, Sensation Rise with choreographer Pzia, touring in South America, Europe & Asia.
When I’m not busy with my dance work I am still busy with my body and always eager to share my knowledge of training the body with fitness and nutrition and helping others create the best version of themselves! From personal training, online coaching & BootyBuilding 101 classes I love finding ways to help people feel confident in their skin and with a background in dance, adding my own twist of dynamic movement.
